Did you see the Apple "little more" annoucement for Oct 23?

Apple sent out invitations for an announcement on Oct 23, next Tuesday. I'm interested in making a Mini iPad my first tablet, but a lot depends on price and memory capacity. There is a rumor that the base model may only contain 8GB of memory, which is not nearly enough in my opinion. What do you think? If you're interested in buying one, what is your sweet spot for purchase price?

Nope. I'm sure it will be outrageously priced, you'll have to wait in line for 2 days to get one, and it won't be any better as far as specs go than anything else on the market.

I could not be less interested because now I will have to see the words "FORM FACTOR" a couple million additional times.

If it's cheap enough I might get one. Microsoft screwed up and is overcharging for the Surface.

If the iPad mini is not enough for you, Google is going to be selling a 32GB Nexus 7 and it has showed up in Staples computer system for the same price as the 16GB model which is $250. Great Tablet at a great price.

I've been following the small tablet news closely, and rumors indicate no 3G/4G for the iPad mini, to which I say "WTF?"
Of course, Nexus doesn't have it, nor does Kindle in that size.
Let's see...make something MORE portable, but LESS mobile...well done.

Not interested because we have 3 iPad 1st gens, but a sweet purchase price would have to be <$200.
