The Moo Cow mooing ice cream scoop.
Haven't used it in 10 years but she won't let me throw it out.
Grrr.

Egg separator that looks like it's dripping out a nose.

Vegetable slicer. I bought one of those with all the fancy blades, but it makes the produce taste bitter. Plus I enjoy the zen of slicing by hand. It's very relaxing.

For some reason, I once thought an electric cheese grater was a great idea. I think I used it once. The good news is that, after gathering dust for years, I finally gave the darn thing away!

My husband was dead set on getting a George Foreman grill for Christmas and I resisted. I was sure it was one of those things that would sit around and never get used. Surprisingly, I was wrong! It is quite handy and I have been using it at least once a week!

The griddle only gets used once or twice a year and I used my mandolin slicer twice and hate it, so that's sitting around. But most of my gadgets get used more than once a month.

Maybe it would be easier to say what isn't collecting dust - the microwave, ninja hand-held mixer, coffee bean grinder & the espresso/coffeemaker. :-/

@xavoc: I should probably note that the icecream maker has been in storage since I divorced my first wife back in 2005...

Several years back, I bought a quesadilla maker, brand new in the box, for $3.

It's still in the box.

The vacuum sealer is still vacuum sealed in the box. So is the ice cream maker. Deep fryer used twice.

My largest dust-collecting kitchen thingy is a breadmaker. A friend gave it to me when he moved, since he never used it. That was about five years ago. I even bought a couple bread machine recipe books, but have yet to make loaf number one.

I also have a hand-me-down George Foreman Grill that's never been used, and come to think of it, it's been a while since I've made waffles. Ugh.

@bnbsouthworth: i'll trade you my never opened capachino/expresso machine for your vacuum sealer.

It's between the electric pizzelle maker or the heart-shaped creme brulee set complete with salamander. I actually used the pizzelle maker once.

Breadmaker, GF grill, waffle maker...
What happened? I used to use all these things.

Sandwich maker, received as a house warming gift 14 years ago, still new in box. Bread machine and ice cream maker are both in the back of a cabinet, they haven't seen the light of day in years.

I got a waffle maker 7 years ago and haven't used it once. Then there is a rice steamer I got around the same time and we finally tried it last month but it made the rice taste like melted plastic. Yuck.
