Anyone else taking today off for an extra-long Labor Day weekend?

I don't have any clinicals tomorrow, so I technically have a four day weekend, but I'll be using it to study and catch up on some school work I've already fallen behind in.

I'm gone right now. I pulled a week off before and after labor day, so I can definitely not have any labors.

Not getting today off, but it is my half-day so I'm out of here at 1.
3 1/2 day weekend of just relaxing. Might go see "The Possession" at some point.

I am! I'm sitting in my Dad's living room right now, waiting for the rest of the family to wake up to start our relaxing beach/boating long weekend.

And as I'm typing this I get the first phone call from work - luckily just a quck question no crisis!

I work a 9/80 schedule and today is a regular off-Friday, so I get an extra long weekend without having to take any vacation time. Woo-hoo! No trips planned, but am taking some time to hang out and do some cool stuff with friends.

Luckily, my company gives us an additional day immediately before or after most holidays.

Yes! I took today off. Took my car to get an oil change and tire rotation. Going to run some errands, get something to cook for dinner. Generally, do things I want to on a day I know others are doing what others want them to. Ahhhhhhhhh......

Not me, not only am I working a full day today, but I'm working on Saturday too. :(

And, on top of it all, I woke up with a sore throat this morning, so I'm due for a long, annoying weekend. Bummer end to the summer.

I've been on vacation since Friday August 24 and I return to work on Thursday, September 6.

Even if I hadn't been on vacation the last week of August, I always take Fridays off during the summer (from the last Friday in June until after Labor Day). Thus, I always have a four-day weekend for Labor Day.

Though I did get an emergency call from work today and spent about 20 minutes dealing with a problem, and I was at work yesterday picking up packages, mostly from the woot-off and wine.woot purchases from before the woot-off.

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
