Just went and checked it out. $10 plus $5 shipping for a junk box? Nah, that's real money. I prefer to keep trying to get the one and only original BoC from Woot! thankyouverymuch

Many moons ago I bought one of their "Surprise Bundles" for $10 (+ $5 S/H)

It wasn't worth it at all.

I won't do business with Yugster any more, though, not because of the Surprise Bundle, but rather because the second item I bought from them was outright false advertisement. The item they intended to sell (a USB AC Power adapter) was not the item they presented on their website (the power adapter plus an iPod dock cable).

To their credit they did issue me a refund, but I simply don't trust them after that experience.

I've purchased a couple.
Off the top of my head - an Energizer mobile power inverter (like the sold out one in the sponsored deal today), a pair of binoculars, a couple of USB squids, various incarnations of LED lights from clip ons to car map reading ones, grilling tongs, a couple of stainless water bottles, a plastic insulated coffee/travel cup thing, magnesium flint and steel, a yellow fluffy duster in a stick (think Ziggy Stardust hair), and a screen cleaner is all I can come up with for now.

I was unimpressed with the contents of the few Mystery Boxes or Surprise Bundles or whatever they called them that I bought. You'd think I would have learned my lesson after the first one...

I got a "Mystery Box" that was full of dollar store junk. Worst thing is, it was $20. Never again!
I got, if I remember correctly - junk kitchen tools, junk travel alarm clock/calculator, junk suction-cup shotgun that didn't work, and a couple other junk items. I'd say the stuff that I got cost about $8-$10.
Yeah, the BOC is, for the most part junk too, but usually you get your $8 worth from it.

Yes and "junk" is the correct word

marshmallow gun, a keychain digital picture frame the illumination and screen would not turn off and the battery died minutes after unplugging, a wifi signal detector, a vegetable peeler with catcher bin that couldn't even peel a potato

Yeah, just recently Nov. '12. What a bunch of junk. Such a big disappointment. Got a donut maker, a red beanie, a 10 cent flashlight, and a piece of crap rag to clean my electronics. All in all probably worth $10--not worth $1 to me. The funny thing is a friend ordered one on the same day and got exactly the same crap-in-a-box! I should be old enough to know better.

@pmouth: Had everything you just listed exactly.
