It may shrink or grow in weight from the original shipping order. Mine was 4.9 lbs.

1 pound on mine. This is my first bag of crap. At one pound, I'm either getting texas air or a letter informing me when my huey will be flown to me.

I'll be ok with the air, so long as it not be refurbished.

@gregorylikescheapstu: My last BoC said 1 lb all the way to my door, it wasn't, it was more like 11 pounds, stupid desk calendars.

People have started posting their boc weights on page 29.

5.6 lbs for me :)

oh & 1 lb means its a placeholder. it should update somewhere along the way

@xarous: I could use a desk calendar. :D Probably not 11 pounds of them, though. :p

Sweet merciful heaven, my "Bag" weighs 9.5 lbs! I've never had anything over 3 lbs in the past. All of my craps so far have been "standard" craps, and it looks like quite a few people got heavier craps. I know bigger isn't better, but I hope it's something unique!

vote-for4vote-against

9.7lbs here! I have no idea what to expect!

vote-for6vote-against

@claudicina: @dreamyvelvet: @tiamat114: maybe instead of texas air they are now including texas dirt!

vote-for5vote-against

13.5 lbs here!! I'm so excited!....Maybe a brick or 2 :)

vote-for1vote-against

I have two coming my way, 5.6 for one and 9.5 for the other.

vote-for2vote-against

i got mine! 9.4 lbs...i wonder what it could contain...probably 9.4 lbs of nuts and bolts

Mine is 2.1kg. I feel like I may be getting the short end of the stick. Maybe the light end.

ARE YOU IN FOR A TREAT!

My first/only BOC I got on my BIRTHDAY (last sep) so I knew it was gonna be special, it was a heavy box too...and when it showed up it was about the size of my Microwave!

Lo and behold - ~10 pounds of out dated Desk Calenders AND Puzzles. (In all fairness, they were actually good for another few months when I got 'em, and like I told the people I gave 'em too, you can still use em if you remember to offset the dates for each month).

The moral of this story is: "The BOC commandments are there for a reason." :). Also maybe: "Good things come in small packages?"

Really though, weight means absolutely NOTHING. (I know it's all we have until our boxes arrive, and I'm gonna watch mine like a hawk and question what the weight means night and day). Maybe it's only 1lb because there's a note telling me they bought me a condo!

I'm afraid to type this in for fear of what the universe will do to me but...mine says 37.7 lbs. I AM GETTING 40 DESK CALENDARS!!!

vote-for2vote-against

When it was heavy i got a bucket of Calendars (30 of them) But I loved the bucket. And I use the little weather station every day.

One Christmas they sent me every broken thing at the woot factory. I loved that bag of crap it was so much fun finding out what that stuff was and fixing it. I even patched the broken soccer ball I imagined the woot elves playing with at lunch.

One bag of crap I got woot lights, a bandoler of carrots shirt, $5 off shipping just because Mr Dow Jones dialed the wrong number.

My very first BOC was originally 1 lb with expected delivery on 7/25... Now it is 5.4 lbs (yay, I hope) with expected delivery on 7/27.

vote-for2vote-against

8.7 lbs for me...on the 27th supposedly. We'll see how it goes...

vote-for1vote-against

Mine seems to be the standard 5.9. No matter what I can't NOT get excited about these things. Although I think my office as a collective gets a little too excited...probably because they take home the majority of the gifts.

Got mine today. Truly a Box of Crap! lol No complaints. Anyone have an xm radio that they want a speaker dock for? You pay the shipping and it's yours!

vote-for2vote-against

passed through denver overnight!!!
Weight 11.1 lbs/5.0 kg
AWESOME!

vote-for2vote-against

@bonoman: I'm sorry that you don't get excited about the BoC, but you said your colleagues get too excited, so I guess that averages out nicely.

vote-for1vote-against

@threepiecewoot: Whoaaaaaaa - Think there may have been a miscommunication? I said I can't NOT get excited about it. As in "I'm always excited about it." And that my office gets just as excited as me (or more!)...meaning they pillage my stuff almost instantly!

Sorry for the confusing wording.

vote-for3vote-against

@bonoman: Sorry about that, I misread your post.

@claudicina: That's really cool of you to offer your speaker dock for free. However, if no one takes you up on your offer, or if you decide to keep it, this link may help you:
