I've bought 2-3 items from Amazon Warehouse Deals. In my case, the items have appeared to be brand new. No complaints at all. I saved probably $50-60 going this route.

I have only purchased used video games. They were in excellent condition. Would definitely do it again. Saved a lot of money too.

I buy a lot of Like New Video games from Amazon Warehouse.. save a buttload, and most of the time it's just open box, even had Nintendo Rewards Points cards for Wii games I ordered still inside the case.

I always check there first before looking at New

I too am a happy Warehouse Deals customer. If I'm looking at an item, I will definitely check to see if they have a Warehouse Deals option available, and usually purchase it unless it seems too damaged. I think they are very honest about the descriptions - whether it's just packaging or actual scratches or something else on the item. Usually if it's just packaging, I will not hesitate. If it says something about a scratch or dent on the item, I have to consider if it's worth it. But, I've never had something show up in worse condition than it said, and I've always been happy with them.

I just bought a new Vizio TV from Amazon Warehouse Deals for $600 in Like New condition. It was just DC'ed in November (as far as I can tell), and the price floor it hit on Amazon was $898

I saved a boat load of dough, and all of the cellophane that frequently covers the black parts of new electronics was still affixed. SMOKIN' deal...I will always check Warehouse Deals before purchasing new electronics from now on!

I bought some bulk speaker wire that was described "Packaging may have minor damage. Item is in excellent condition."
How can you go wrong with speaker wire that is half the new price.

I've got vizio TV, too, from warehouse deal.
Now the TV has a problem on the screen and Vizio denied to offer me Manufacturer's warranty, because warehouse deal isn't their authorized reseller.

Couple weeks ago I bought a Gitzo Basalt monopod listed on Amazon for 247. Saw the "used" one and thought I would give it a try. When I got it, it had one 2"x2" piece of clear tape to close one end of the box. Other than that, I seriously doubt if it was taken out of the box even. My price. $140 and change. How can you complain with that. Left me extra money to buy other camera accessories. Back in the day, I used to buy open box from Best Buy. Got one of my best laptops ever that way.

i realize this is old, but i just HAVE to say something. I bought 4 computer parts from Warehouse Deals and they all had to go back. I thought it was awesome Amazon sold used computer parts, but its been nothing but a pain.

I have been buying used stuff in the form of car parts like a front bumper, tail light units, under-body neon lights kit and even roofracks from http://www.automotix.net/usedautoparts.html and befor that directly from the scrap yard. I find this convenient and easy because I can order from home and get free shipping and also a warranty on parts. Apart from online shopping, I have not bought anything used from another portal.

Great experience! I have now bought about 8 or more items in the past year from the Warehouse, including a 24" monitor, a mopping robot, and two window fans. Some come repackaged, some come in original packing with maybe an exterior dent, crease, or whatever. But they were all in great shape, with all parts, documents, etc.

The only exception was a lockset that didn't work, not the fault of Warehouse. I contacted Kwikset, directly, described the problem, they sent a new cylinder and I was good to go.

I now always check if an item is available through Warehouse, if so, and I like the description of the condition (always reliable) I buy through them, always at a pretty good discount.
