Wootopoly!?
Did you see?! I am so tempted!
It's so very tempting. The only problem is I don't think I know anyone else who would want to play it with me, I don't know many Monopoly or Woot! fans :/.
I went ahead and ordered it. I know it probably won't be available again for a while and I couldn't help myself.
Wootopoly party at my house!
I just realized that the name Woot-opoly just contradicts their original intentions of one deal a day and celebrates their current scheme of 495 deals a day. Please tell me the creators thought of this clever pun and I'm not just overthinking it.
This looks awesome and I am buying one. How often do you ever get to hear, "I get to be the bag of Crap!"?
I am legitimately contemplating getting it. At first I wanted spongebob themed, but man, Woot-Opoly... If I buy this, does that mean I have a Woot problem? o.O
Maybe they'll add an online-version to run in a window during the woot-offs!
I couldn't help myself~! I have the Woot Frying Pan, and now I have Woot-opoly... In 100 years, this version of Monopoly could be worth $30
prediction: you will never convince anyone to play this game.
reality: woot is trying to stay relevant.
summary: fail
Buying this is about the only way you can now get a BOC.

You could look at it as the deal a day ( or deals of the day) are a monopoly on that/those items for the day .
I'm tempted as well...I love the little pewter player markers! AWESOME!
now if they made an electronic wootoply where I can get online and play with other wooters then I would totally buy.
I wonder if we can use woot-opoly money to buy things on woot?
Wouldn't it be great if we received a free surprise boc when we ordered this? Too bad there's not a wine bottle token in the set.
@pinchecat: I really want to buy this, but sadly, you are right. I'd more likely be in a threesome with 2 lingere models than get anybody else to play this game. It would sit on a shelf, collecting dust, until at some point it gets thrown out, wondering why I ever would buy such a thing.
I'm in for one.
I bought one because I love Monopoly, and I collect Monopoly games.
Too bad I don't know any of you that said you wouldn't have anyone to play the game with, I'd totally play woot-opoly with you!
The few other people I play board games with hate monopoly, but they like woot. Maybe I could get them to play if I... trick them into it with this ;)
couldn't resist...i bought one.
hey, maybe we could do a google hangout with fellow wooters so we can play. haha! (logistical nightmare, i know)
I would be far more likely to buy this if it was a "deal".
With Woot having changed (not making the argument here if better or worse, just stating the fact that it has changed) I'm less likely to be a rabid fan and want Woot-branded items. (Like my monkies, my bucket, lights and other random odds and ends from years past)
Now add in that this is essentially the same price as a regular Monopoly set, rather than a really good deal and I'm even less inclined.
Still a kinda neat item, just not at the right price for me to pull the trigger but I'm sure many others will.
update: for anybody who wants one, but is resisting because of the price, woot is running a contest...as copied from FB
"Guess what! We made an -opoly! But we know even the low-low price of $19.99 may not convince you, so we want to give some away. If you want a chance at winning one of 5 Wootopoly games, until 5pm CT- email POC@woot.com with the subject line "I wanna play!" "
@kfujita: Finally, a deadline to play that I haven't missed out on!
I want one, but I don't want to shell out $25 for it... so I'll have to pass GO and keep my dollars.
