Tag subscriptions?
The fancy first-ever Deals.Woot newsletter encouraged me to come here if I had a suggestion for how to make Deals.Woot better, and so I have obeyed.
I was thinking it might be a good idea (and please tell me if this functionality already exists, so I can go feel as stupid about myself as possible) to be able to "subscribe" to tags. The way your home page has a tab for Popular, Fresh, and your discovered deals, what if we could have tabs for tags we've subscribed too? For example, let's say I'm shopping around for video games and netbooks, and don't want to do two searches for "video games" and "netbooks" whenever I visit Deals.Woot. Instead, I would already have two tabs next to my name tab, each one pulling up the most recent deals other users have posted with each tag. (Or I suppose you could lump it all into one general "subscription" tab, which would take me to the most recent deals other users have posted tagged either "video games" or "netbooks.")
That's my crazy idea, I'll stop now.

You do know you can just click on a tag, like, say, #notebook. That's dealspeak for a tag. Go ahead. It's all nice and shiny. Click on it. You can also just make a URL that looks like:
http://deals.woot.com/questions/tagged/{your tag here}
That works too.
We'll when you click on on the tag it does generate a new tab with the tag as the tab name. Maybe in the my account page there could be choice to have certain tags appear automatically in their own tabs for you. I think that is what you were wanting, which isn't a bad idea.
