what are you trying to do?

@carl669: use bluetooth headphones/ microphone (headphones mainly, microphone would be a bonus)

hmm...never had to use special 'software' for that. have you tried just pairing up the headphones to the computer and seeing what happens?

@carl669: not really sure how.... mind giving me a few tips of where to look?

@carl669: the software that the computer tries to download from microsoft is not bluetooth software... its motionjoy virutal input for windows... which isnt what i need...

What is you operating system (XP, Vista, MacOS)?
What headset\microphone?

@drsilentg: basically, you might still need the driver (if your OS doesn't already have one), but you shouldn't need the software. install the bluetooth adapter. then, add the headphones as a device.

here's a video showing the steps. (the video is for a headset, but the steps should be similar if not the same): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4FdNvf3s_s

@carl669: thanks for the effort. the dongle does not install the proper driver (windows thinks its a motionjoy virtual xinput device) so i need software such as Bluesoil or whatever its called. i dont have the option to "turn on and off bluetooth"
