I have an Elocity A7, and love it, only downsides are it doesn't have a USB to connect to a computer, just the type that you would find on a computer (meaning you can plug a USB stick into it, or your cell phone, etc.) and that the battery only lasts about 7 hours per charge

I have a g tablet, but I've been looking around for a new Android tablet because my girlfriend wants mine since her MacBook is dead.

According to cnet, the Acer Iconia Tab A500 is the most powerful, sub $500, top of the line Android Tablet on the market.

@sykotek: Thanks for that, that does looks like a great tablet!

Like @mrmucox said, a lot of people have said that for price vs. power, you can't beat the Nook Color.

Sure, out of the box its Android functionality is hamstringed, but it is apparently quite easy to hack in Android 3.0.

@scyld: If I'm not mistaken, they just announced that they are adding an Android Market to the Nook, though not the full one, but a vetted store, more like the Apple Appstore. And also a mail app.

ASUS Transformer ($399, but good like finding one they are in high demand)
or
Acer Iconia ($449)

@sykotek: I have to disagree, the ASUS Transformer has the same features, is $49 less, and has an IPS screen (iPad 2 screen)

Definitely the Eee Pad Transformer. You can even get a keyboard dock. It has similar specs to the Xoom(Tegra 2 dual core and whatnot) at $200 less, but as previously mentioned, it is out of stock EVERYWHERE.

Good luck finding one, will be easier once the Eee Slider comes out.

look this store:www.justeasyorder.com,I've seen it sevearal days ago,the tablets they are selling are very cheap and free shipping, also other guys have bought from them all said it's good,I'm still doubt, who can give me some suggestions?

I adore my Nook Color, and will adore it even more when I upgrade the OS so I can use Flash.

@promyst: Don't misunderstand, it isn't my opinion that the Iconia is the top of the line Android tablet, its just what was alluded to in the cnet article I linked to. It doesn't even rank the Transformer among the top of the line Android tablets! From what info I've gathered since, the differences in processing power between the two is negligible, but if I were on the market for a new Android tablet, I'd definitely consider the Transformer over the Iconia, especially with the cheaper price and expandable battery. As for the iPad screen being on it...I own and enjoy my GTab, I obviously don't care about other people being able to view my screen. =D

I have a pandigital novel 7, which is a POS, but I don't think you can beat the $100 I paid for it, though I believe it retails at around $180. It doesn't come with the market or USB Host (so you can only use sd card for memory), but the market can be added with custom firmware from the slatedroid forum.

I have an Acer Iconia A500 and I'm thrilled with it. The 32 GB version is available from Costco for $429 and that includes the extra year warrenty you get with anything you buy from Costco. It's fast, HiRes, great 3D and Android 3.1 Honeycomb. I would like a bit longer battery life and it's not the lightest of the Honeycomb tablets, but it is the best for that price by about $100. Thinking about getting a USB 3G data plan.

The Viewsonic G-Tablet is awesome, once you reflash it (check XDAdevelopers)
The ASUS Transformer is more expensive but well worth it, incredible (even more so with the keyboard which makes it an excellent netbook)

I am not sure why everything is saying it's so hard to get an Eee pad transformer. I googled it and I found it on my first try:

"You go to B & H"-I guess this can't be what everyone is looking for-someone please enlighten me.

It was difficult to find six months ago, but then, when you were looking the next asus was out already and demand was lower.
