If Lovin' You is Wrong, I Don't Want to be Right.

This is not necessarily about a wrong 'love' choice. Perhaps a job choice? A relocation? Or another decision you've made. Bad choice? OR, maybe it seemed wrong, but turned out to be the 'right' one for you.

I've made those choices. Some were bad for me. A marriage, for instance. OTOH Another marriage choice was right. BTW: I have BTDT re: the song. Gah! Love is...difficult to define, explain, et al.

What choices have you made that were good? Bad? Good at the time? Later, not so good.

Sometimes it feels as if every choice I make ends up being a bad one, even when I have only the best of intentions while going in.

I've made several bad choices in my life, and some of those made other people make decisions that hinged on mine. This is my public apology to them. Thanks for the absolution thread. ;>)

I made a good choice to stick to my guns and move back home (to Seattle). The world's nice, don't get me wrong. Been there, seen it. Just no place like home. I know this means I've missed a few opportunities as a result, but they would have been just short term gains.

(I like to think this one singular choice lets me make up for a number of not so smart ones, too.)

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?

Well, that's a bit tricky. See, we do a lot of stuff with your vote, using it to work out the popularity of what you voted for, compare that to all the other things voted on, tally up our leaderboard, work out your reputation. Someday we'll do a little cartoon showing just how hard your vote is working.
