Is there a way to "woot this deal" on an iPad?
Is there a way to "woot this deal" on an iPad? I'd like to add the "woot this deal" button to my Safari browser, but you can't drag it to the bookmark toolbar. You can't drag it anywhere. I do most of my browsing on my iPad, and would love to woot a few bargains along the way.
copy the link address from the site you want into the bar after clicking "add a deal" on the main deals.woot page
@miquinn: Not what I was looking for. I know how to copy a link, I want to add the "Woot this deal" button to iPad safari.
Is there a way to add te button to safari. Drag and drop does not work
@klacour: oh i see, you are one of those ppl who downvotes everything, no i wasnt the one who downvoted your question, and i was correct btw
if you can't put the 'woot this deal' button in your bookmarks then what you do is copy the link address from the site you want into the bar after clicking "add a deal" on the main deals.woot page and then you fill out the info like always That is how you add a deal when the bookmark doesn't work
dont you get it!? THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION IS YES, you just can't bookmark it like you want to!
@miquinn: Like I said, I know how to copy a link and add a deal. Since I've moved to using the iPad more and more, I'd like the woot this deal button. It simpler. Copying and pasting on an iPad sucks.
And you seem to be one of those people who answer questions just to get your reps up. Read the original post and offer a worthwhile answer. Earn your reps.
BTW, I don't down vote ... Click my ID, and check "votes against" .... Nothing ...
no im not a rep builder, but like i said that's the only way to do it on a tablet
@klacour: I had that same problem with a recent (but older) version of Firefox; one of their updates killed that ability. It was a real PIA, but there was no way around it, alas. You pretty much just have to do it manually.
(Later updates for FF cured the problem.)
