Are there any other secret (or not so secret) things Woot does to suprise/reward people?

After getting the jumbowoot deal, which I never even knew existed, I started wondering if there were other secrets I was unaware of. Enlighten me!

what is a "jumbowoot deal"? never heard of it.
most of what woot gives is a wonderful community full of helpful people. i have gotten the occasional coupon tho

Can someone explain the Jumbowoot to me? I saw it mentioned before, and have googled it, but I'm still not sure what it is exactly...

@jesseroo: jumbowoot is the big boss. s/he has final say on everything woot. from everything i've ever seen seems to be a REALLY nice being.

Jumbowoot is what you get at the fair when you trade up the 2 large woots that you have already won. You can also get 1 large woot by trading in 2 medium woots.

Well I know sometimes ThunderThighs hosts a contest before midnight to guess the next item up on Woot and the winners tend to get it or something else for free. Not looking for rewards because I use deals.woot to get me the best deals and I am very happy. Just wondering about secrets/fun I may be missing like how people go to In N Out for the first time and don't know you can get a burger or fries animal style (so sad).

@drsilentg: agreed! Never meant to come off that way. I just like all of the fun "secrets" like moofi and BOCs and was wondering what else I may be missing.

@jesseroo: I know they always over-inflate the basketballs so they bounce off the rims like crazy. The rims are also smaller than regulation.

I knew a carnie once, and when I took my kids to the fair, she was running the water-gun-in-the-clown's-mouth-to-blow-up-the-balloon game. She made sure to pull the balloons onto the nozzle extra hard... between both of my my two little girls, they took 5 straight games, lol!

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
