What's your suggestion an apple ipod touch or a philip go gear connect android?

i was looking to buy an ipod touch i came across a great item from philips go gear connect it works on an android operating system its much cheaper than the ipod touch i like better the android operating system than the apple operating system what do you suggest?

i think the Philips is better and cheaper i will go for the Philips

I have a Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0. As a music player, it is good. As a mini-tablet, it is ok. Where it excells is in the features that ipods lack. Expandable memory, functional GPS(not that crap using cell tower or wifi signals), and radio.

I spend my morning listening to NPR (morning classics locally), use endomondo pro to track walking/jogging/cycling workouts, listen to my music in the afternoons. Got a refurb for $150. The 5.0 is a little big, there is a 4in version.

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
