Two Mannings One Cup (1-2) 90.5 vs. Team germ (1-2) 83
This was a pretty awesome matchup from two teams who have some decent depth, but have dealt with some slackers. Team germ had some great starts this week, McCoy leading the bunch with 21 points, but it wasn't enough to stop Carolina and the Mannings emptying their cup on Team Germ's faces. Decker would have made the difference for Germ with 19 points on the bench, but he opted for Garcon and once again the french couldn't get it done. If Spllier ever catches on, Carolina could be very dangerous in the later weeks.

DrunkCajuns (3-0) 85 vs. Hootin Wooters (1-2) 50.5
Even with 2 gooseggs, Bob gets it done again to move to 3-0 this week. The Cajuns made a great move to grab Cam Newton off the wire, who didn't disappoint, putting up 24 points. Jordam Cameron continues his assault on defenses with another 24 point showing. Rough week for Dr. Quinn, who left a bunch of points on the bench this week. Arian Foster needs to get it going, he hasn't had 20 carries yet this season, and still hasn't made it over the 100 yard mark.

Test Monkies (2-1) 91.5 vs. CapgunCowboys (1-2) 79
Both of these teams are sick with talent, but dealing with some big letdowns. The Monkies have Dwayne Bowe, who has put up a whopping 14 points in three weeks; and the Cowboys can't seem to get any consistency after Peyton and Peterson. There was some grumbling about the new points system, (allowing a kicker to get 17 points) but the dude kicked 3 over 40 yards, and made 4 extra points. This scoring is designed to keep scores lower, with bonuses for extra special performances. We can revisit this next year if you're not enjoying it, just trying to even the playing field and make all positions valuable, instead of having all QBs at the top of the scoring chart.

Chocolate Squirrels (3-0) 103.5 vs. Agents of SHIELD (1-2) 85
I was asleep when the games started on Sunday, and neglected to check for late scratches, which is why Reggie Bush started this week. Woops! Thankfully Drew Brees remembered what it was like to be alive, and actually had some success throwing the ball. Couple that with Jamaal hitting 23 points, and Mark was doomed, even with great games from Pierce, Welker, and the Bears D. Hopefully Coulson can get this team in shape. Really liking my team so far, thankfully, because my other 3 teams aren't great. The team celebrated with cake and ice cream, then went to the build a bear workshop.

I'm not really TOO upset about the points system, but you do have to wonder about it when a kicker scores as many points as the QB and the QB is having one of the best games of the week.

I understand why it's set up the way it is, but I think it missed the mark. Instead of making the playing field more even, it creates more problems. Rushing QBs who will still get 1 point per 10 yards rushed and 6 points for each rushing TDs. Then we're back to square one. Who am I to complain though? I have the #1 QB on the current points system, even if he did get 2/3 his points in week 1.

All-in-all, I'm just bitter because my team is doing surprisingly terrible. I feel like I've got a great team but I can't get them all to have a decent week at the same time and it's maddening.

Good write-up though. Keep 'em coming!

I agree. This FF season is bizzaro. I also look at my team and feel happy with it, but the performances are a roller coaster ride. Btw, love the Coulson reference in our write-up. I am feeling good this week and like the addition of Forte at running back, as I am still strong at WR, even after my trade. As for the the Dwayne Bowe part of the trade, I don't know if he will ever do anything for this year when Alex Smith can't throw the ball further than 15 yds downfield (seriously). But I still feel it was a fair trade between myself and the Test Monkies.
