Did you notice that the Woot main deal will be changing today, every so often?

Thanks to a new thing woot! is trying called woot! Ca$h Grab, we will be presented with more than one deal today, à la wootoff, but sans the flashing lights or the progress bar, or the theoretical crappiness.
Will you be checking back to the page to make sure you don't miss that one thing that you never knew you needed all your life until ... there it was?
(I likely will, cuz I'm a sucker like that)

When Woot was young, we only sold one item per day. Then we realized that if we sold more things, we'd make more money. In this spirit, we present Cash Grab, our most blatant money-grubbing ploy yet.

If and when today's daily deal sells out, we will probably replace it with another. When? What will it be? How many deals will we offer? The answer is: whatever lets us grab the most cash! We could say we're doing it to bring more red-hot Black Friday deals to our beloved customers, but frankly that's just a side effect.

So yeah, keep in mind that the deal you're looking at right now may not be the only deal in this space today. Woot Cash Grab: feel the grabbing!"

I guess the ultimate question is: Will Woot still flip at midnight if the previous product has not sold out?

I really don't think I could handle that crap if they decided to just change when a sellout happened.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
