Does Woot only have just over 93,000 customers?

I was looking at the Colored Triangle leaderboard list and noticed that next to each range there is a number in parentheses that indicates the number of members for that range.

When I add up all of the numbers of members it comes to 93057. The largest number of members, 73945, have a zero triangle. A zero triangle would indicate they have a Woot account (necessary to purchase something) but have never participated in the Deals site.

For some reason I would have expected Woot to have way more than 93,057 different customers.

how does your math take into account for the people that have multiple accounts?

I think a lot of white triangles got cleaned out a few years ago, I for one have 2 accounts though. This and @dakadakadaka. and let us not forget about THE FLOUNDER! oh yeah i also have @xdavex2

No. I believe snapster mentioned somewhere, that woot has over 2 million users. Probably over 3 now. But even this chart from 2009 says 560,147 are (were) JUST a yellow square.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
