Are you unable to see some comments?

There have been at least 5 deals in which I see comments are listed, but I am unable to view. Has anybody else noticed this quirk?

That has been an issue for as long as I can recall.

I have assumed it is related to the bug that delays the posting of a response for hours at a time. However, I have no evidence to back that up.

Either way, it's not just you.

@gregorylikescheapstu: Actually, I have never had a problem seeing comments before. I was hoping by this point I could click on the link I posted and it would be all fixed. Alas, I still can't see it.

Looks like moderators removing comment spam is not updating the comment count correctly. We are looking into it.

@josefresno: thanks. But I have to ask - you say comment count. I have seen a deal with at least 3 comments in which none of the comments are available to me. Are we talking about the same thing?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
