What bits to buy for the Hitachi set now on home.woot plus?
The set only includes one bit. What would you buy for light, general household use?

I would just go to Home Depot or Lowe's and pick up a bit set. I got an all purpose set for like $15 and use it all the time for various stuff around the house. Nothing fancy, but does the job.
In fact, I think this is the exact one I bought to go with my Black and Decker drill for $12 http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-100671746/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=drill+bits&storeId=10051#.UFTMvVGXPTo (looks like you'll need to copy and paste that link)
@infrom: on reflection, it seems that hex bits are what's needed, unless I get an adapter chuck. So I think something more like this? http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/catalog/servlet/Search?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&keyword=1%2F4%22%20hex%20drill%20bit%20set&Ns=None&Ntpr=1&Ntpc=1&selectedCatgry=SEARCH+ALL#/?c=1&Ns=PREPPRC_MODE|0
@meh3884: Thanks!
I think you are correct. It sounds as if you need that Speedload set for $5.97. I would try that and see how it works. BTW, that Hitachi deal doesn't look terrible....looks like a decent buy. :)
I just posted this deal, I think I answered my own question! 30 pcs for 10 bucks.
