What's your favorite brand of Keurig K cup coffee and why?
It is Sunday morning and I happen to pay particular reverence to my coffee on this day. There are so many different K cup brands out there. I'm curious what others like and what they find appealing about themt. I'm currently on a a Donut Shop kick produced by "the Coffee People" I would love to try some new ones... What do you recommend?
Timothy's Original Donut Blend - it is a medium blend that is very smooth and not bitter at all.
I like the Green Mountain Breakfast Blend but have been drinking the starbucks house lately. It doesn't taste as good but it wakes me up faster.
Wolfgang Puck's Rodeo Drive....yummmmm
I always make sure the office has Green Mountain Coffee's "Dark Magic" in stock.
Coffee People "Jet Fuel"

For my everyday cuppa, I rely on Newman's Own Organics Newman's Special Blend. I like the flavor a lot, and Costco carries it at a decent price. It's also Fair Trade certified, and I like supporting the Newman's brand because they do good work with charities.
I like Newman's Special Blend Decaf, too, but there's on decaf that just knocks my socks off: Timothy's Decaffeinated Rainforest Espresso. Leaving aside the question of whether anything in a K-cup can properly be called "espresso," I really love the flavor & satisfaction of this. It's strong and good and you don't even notice that it's decaf, and it's absoulutely faaaaaaaaabulous with anything chocolate.
Every so often I order one of those Amazon "sampler" packages of K-cups to see what's out there (& they don't cost much).
Gotta say that the Keurig has been a surprise; I didn't expect to like it as much as I do. It's unreal to have decent coffee brewed in a minute. Unreal!
the wife likes Green Mountain Sumatran Reserve...I don't care for coffee much
I also like the Donut Shop variety (more than I thought I would, talk about a variety pack winner) for those mornings when I'm too tired/groggy/Monday to bust out the ekobrew and grinder for a smattering of local beans.
Donut House Light Roast Extra Bold, Sams Club usually carries it 80 cups for $39.99. It's by far my favorite regular coffee, I have several others but they are flavored.
I prefer bolder brews. Coffee People Jet fuel, Black Tiger, Organic, GM Dark Magic, WGP FR.Roast, Emerils Big Easy Bold, Timothys Midnight magic, Tullys italian.
Many more but best bet is to experiment with different types, different cup sizes & you'll find what you like.
Oddly some of the best sellers...CP Donut, GM Breakfast blend and Nantucket......I cant stand. The CP Donut is supposed to be bold. I think it is the number 1 selling kcup so obviously im in the minority here as many love it. I find it to be lacking taste and way too weak for something considered 'bold'. The 2 GM's that are hot sellers are WAY too weak for me but may appeal to those looking for a light roast and again, they are top sellers so Many love them. I found them to be far to waek and watery for my tastes.
I love Southern Pecan and Golden French Toast (both available, along with many, MANY other varieties of Keurig K-cups at coffeeretriever.com). The best thing about CoffeeRetriever.com is that you get 24 packs vs. the 18 packs they're selling in the stores for under $13/box. Also, if you spend $75, your shipment is FREE. No, I don't work for Coffee Retriever, but I just placed another order tonight and am going to receive several new flavors I haven't had before. Can't WAIT!!! If you haven't tried the Southern Pecan, it's a great all year coffee that can be enjoyed at any time of day. The Golden French toast is a mild, easy taste that I love to have with my breakfast. Highly recommend.
