Have you ever ditched your phone carrier before the end of contract?

I've been an AT&T loyal customer for a very long time. But after talking to many people, I realize I've been paying way too much for my limited plan. The money I'd save from switching carrier will eventually outweigh the ETF (contract ends in 8 months). So bye bye AT&T! The service isn't that great anyway.

I paid off my contract with Alltel/Verizon several years back and switched to AT&T. I didn't like paying for service that I never got, but a contract is just that...a contract.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
