Oh Look! A woot-off! Who's looking forward to it?

Yay! A woot-off! Just what I needed, someplace to spend my excess money...oh right, I don't have that! Still, looking forward to see if there are any goodies out there this time. I already managed to buy a Forever Lazy, and the glow sticks. Here's waiting for the rest of the day.

Anyone hoping for anything special this woot-off? Besides a deal? LOL

Haven't bought anything in the last 4-5 woot offs. Not much hope left but still holding out a little that something cheap and tempting will come by.

When I used to get up on a Tuesday morning and saw those flashing lights... oh boy... I would get excited! I'd sit here during lunch. I'd not go outside. Productivity would drop like a rock. There'd be interesting, inexpensive, things coming up through the day and much of the time.. if you snoozed, you losed. I had to stay poised... just in case. Sometimes, I'd miss something and kick myself (there are still some salt/pepper grinders I missed and never got!).

And, of course, the anticipation of a BOC. When it didn't come, oh boy oh boy.... another day of Woot Off!!!

Now, more pricey things I don't really want (TVs, monitors.. more TV and more monitors), no anticipation for a BOC that will never come. No excitement. So, no. I'm not looking forward to it. I'll go about my day as usual, and occasionally check in and see if I happen to see something I want to buy.

15 minutes late & I missed the glowsticks. I'd been waiting for those to come back. They were great to hand out to trick or treaters at halloween.

I have to confess that I gave in an ordered the Forever Lazy. I have no willpower, but now I have unlocked unlimited shipping so I'll be much easier to persuade that I need to buy something else.

But what's up with the logo?

I missed out on the Sriracha popcorn because I was fumbling through the stupid login BS. I'm probably done.

Speaking of the popcorn, anybody else notice that the specs for consumeables often don't include product weight? WTH is up with that? (Another example: the dog treats featured last night on home.woot.)

@belyndag: I think the whole woot off is about stuff people have in their cubicles. So, the 8-ball makes sense, I have no idea what's up with the guy, though.

Same feeling here too. Woot-off's aren't fun anymore. Too predictable and overloaded with stuff we pretty much already have or really DON'T need. I miss all the old good stuff, Todd's Dirt, anything Sanza, Woot Lights, $500 knives, BOC ( which I haven't won in over 2 years) , those frog things that tell you if you have water in your house and that weird maniquin head with that really big mouth.

The only good thing is the all day $5.00 shipping, but you have to buy a few things to make it worth it.

Usually don't bother with wootoffs (no time or $), but a cubicle-creature theme interests me.

Re lack of specs, that and lack of time to search them out elsewhere has kept me from interest in many an item.

I hope this wootoff has a bit more spirit.

I haven't bought anything in a long while and honestly probably wont this time either. I'd love to sit around for the woot-off but I'm pretty sure my wallet would spontaneously grow arms and punch me in the face.

@wilcononomous: The exact reason I ordered them! We usually don't get too many kids, but I figured the ones we did get would enjoy these. But, I'm sure I could hand them off to just about any kid and have them enjoy them! I've certainly got enough now to be generous!

I'm looking forward to what else can be found. I'd hate to have a Forever Lazy and some Glow Sticks be my only purchases. And here I'm supposed to be saving money and not spending it...lol

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
