What is the best budget-GPS under $90?
I got lost terribly in Cincinnati the other day and am never allowing it to happen again (ended up in the slummy ghetto part of town, ehh) and so I would like to buy a GPS. Issue is I want one that isn't horribly expensive and is highly recommended. I don't care about special features - I just want an easily read GPS with updated maps. Thanks!
@neokarny: I had to look it up. I ordered the Garmin nüvi 265T Bluetooth GPS in April of last year - refurbished. It was $104.97 with shipping, no sales tax. My stepdaughter uses it more than I do! Easy to use and has a lot of nice features. My nuvi 650 needs a new battery. The 265T is factory refurbished, has been used a lot, and I've never had any problems with it. Map updates can be pricey, but I've purchased lifetime map updates for both of them.
My preference will always be Garmin. Can't go wrong with a factory refurbished. Bought one a couple of years ago for about 90 bucks. I like it better than the new one I bought previously for about 300 dollars.
@ojulius: From the little I've read Garmin seems pretty good; do you have a specific model you'd recommend? Perhaps the one you have?
my wife
@mkentosh: Kudos to you sir. If I relied on my wife, we'd be lost somewhere right about now.
