Is it possible to extend the Amazon Student Prime trial?

My student trial ended a few days ago and I already really miss it but am too poor/cheap to ante-up, even at the student half-price membership cost. Does anyone know of a work-around?

No, there is no way. Be thankful you had it. You now can pay half price from a normal user.

You'd need another Amazon account, with a different .edu email address. You might need a different payment method and delivery address.

Probably less expensive to just pay the $40 (less than 11 cents a day).

Plus, with a paid Prime account you get free streaming. (I use Amazon Prime streaming more than Netflix and am thinking about dropping Netflix.)

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
