What is the American Dream in 2013?

Over time the "American Dream" seems to morph, or maybe the concept of the "American Dream" is that it can be something different for each individual? What is your concept for your "American Dream" in 2013?

Perhaps you're right about the dream being different.

Mine is that the government will stop spending money my great-grand children won't be able to pay back and that they will go back to that document called the Constitution.

Why? Because on those two things a lot of dreams will depend.

@samstag: Way to go we were headed that direction when unemployment intervened, so once we are back at two incomes we will proceed down the debt free path.
