Where am I?

Several have emailed me to ask where I've been. I truly appreciate the concern and apologize to those to whom I've not had the time to respond. I apologize again for posting here so that I only have to respond once.

Though I'd slowed my participation on Deals with the advent of the collapsing fresh menu, the primary reason I've been absent is that my family has taken in a very ill friend who is in the later stages of an ugly cancer. Literally, every moment is consumed with her care.

To those of you who are praying folks, I'd appreciate any and every prayer you can lift up for us. It's a tough time for my friend, and a very exhausting time for my family.

Really the collapsing menus aren't that bad when it comes overly exuberant deals posters.

Debbie, I am saying prayers for you, your family and especially for this friend. I have a minister friend and I've asked her to put you all on her prayer list for her prayer group.

Thank you all so very much. Today was one of the most difficult days I've ever had. Cancer is just so evil. It robs people and their loved ones of so very much.

My friend went into Hospice House early this week. :(

They're much better able to keep her pain under control. It's getting very bad.
