As far as I know, Groupon doesn't actually retail anything. All of their coupons/goods are other companies who use Groupon more as a marketing tool. I've only used the "goods" part of Groupon a handful of times, but it was always from another company, and I think it was listed in the write-up...

I recently bought a Fossil Watch through Groupon. It looked nothing like the picture, was a hassle to return and I'm still waiting for my credit. I won't buy anything through Groupon again.

since nothing groupon sells is fulfilled by them, I'm not sure why you're confused.

Groupon is kind of like DW. AFIK they don't sell anything.

@kamikazeken: I'm not actively confused here; I was only confused by the fact that I got a package from a company I hadn't knowingly purchased from. Looking at some of the current Groupon goods deals, I'm showing in the description "Goods sold by Groupon Goods.", even for items such as a Nook Tablet.

I don't see anything in the description that indicates that anything is being fulfilled by another company. Just because Groupon was built upon selling deals to be fulfilled by other companies doesn't mean that it follows that any tangible items they sell in their new Groupon Goods section should also be fulfilled elsewhere. Especially without any apparent notice of it.
