Starvation during a woot-off. I might miss the BOC.

And I want a Viking funeral with an Irish wake.

Considering I am getting close to the age most of the men in my family pass away, this is the kind of thing I don't want to think about. So I will leave it at this...

I hope I die quickly and relatively pain free in a way that will be the least traumatic to my family and loved ones.

I want to die by being flash frozen in liquid nitrogen then be thawed out 5000 years later by Pauly Shore and have him teach me about the future society.

I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather - not screaming at the top of my lungs like the passengers in his car.....

@gideonfrost: I thought he was dead...or maybe I was just hoping. Personally, I'd have gone the Phillip J. Fry route.

instantaniously would be better than drawn out.
painfree would be better than agony.
without advanced notice would be better than knowing.
and with enough money to pay for the burial would be better than in debt.

Don't want to drown or burn to death. Not real keen on other options, but these two would be at the bottom of my list.

However, we each will reach our expiration date at some point regardless.

@moosezilla: I think I would rather have some time to come to terms with my life, say my goodbyes, right the wrongs etc. I guess that's what people say live every day as if it was your last.

@mtm2: If there was a second way I wouldn't want to die, it would be by drowning. Although it wouldn't last that long, I have come close to it already when I was younger and it is scary.

vote-for3vote-against

@lichme: i don't want to know because it means i would dread every moment. the tension. the waiting. the worry. the "oh, i forgot to tell x how i truely feel" and the need for person y to dominate my time so they know i know how they felt. and having to watch loved ones start the mourning.
and yes, if you know you haven't told person how you feel, what's stopping you from telling them every day? and if you know you wronged someone, why wait to tell them you're sorry?

i say whereas i'm ready to meet my maker, i have no missing parts of my life, i'm still not gonna encourage him to make it now.

vote-for3vote-against

I'll have some time to prepare for it - my birth certificate has an expiration date on it.

Drowning/Choking/Being trapped in an air tight container of some sort until the oxygen has been depleted/any other situation where my death is caused by the inability to breathe. I can't even sleep with my head under a blanket, as it makes me feel like I'm suffocating.

I kind of like to breathe.

i must live!
becuese, i want my wife live better!

I don't want to die not going out in a blaze of glory. My death shall be remembered.

Being swept up by a tornado. As a kid, I had a lot of weird nightmares about falling upward. The tornado scenario is the only one I can think of where that could actually happen.

As long as I'm not in a hospital bed when I bite the dust, I'm good.

Eaten by a shark in the middle of the ocean.

Starvation from obsessing over a Woot-off. Anyone? Anyone? Bueler?

vote-for3vote-against

@mikecris: did you not read the first answer?

vote-for3vote-against

I plan on living forever so I really don't have an answer for this one. I figure I'm good till someone finds the kryptonite

vote-for2vote-against

@moosezilla: BAM! I guess not. Starvation does strange things to people. Thanks for the downvote though.

vote-for2vote-against

I want to be vaporized by a solar flare.

I don't want to die a traumatic death unless it's instantaneous. Probably don't want to burn to death... or pretty much any scenario from Final Destination.

vote-for2vote-against

@wingnutzero: Actually if you were drowning, many times it is because people cannot figure out which direction is up or down. If you were spelunking and fell into a dark well, you would get the feeling of getting sucked up as well. Also rip tides and other oceanic currents.

Hope that helps alleviate your tornado fear.

vote-for2vote-against

@minxa1: Well then buried alive or cement boots at the bottom of the crushing depths of the ocean would be undesirable for you. While you might not die, you would be trapped for eternity.

Good luck with that.

with a bad life insurance policy.

@mikecris: i commented on. i did NOT downvote (although i do see others did). i feel that a comment has to be really deserving to get a downvote. yours was just a grimace and a "why?" type comment. and if you hadn't added the anyone part on the end i probably wouldn't have even commented on your comment. sorry.

vote-for2vote-against

@moosezilla: I'll own up to a downvote on this although it was after someone already downvoted it. There is no reason that someone give the SAME exact answer as the one at the VERY TOP. The joke wasn't really that funny to begin with. This is just laziness in trying to get their quota of posts up I think.

Would have been different if the timestamp was seconds a part from the other as you would have already had it typed.

I did upvote the first one since so many wooters obsess over woot-offs.
