Craftsman is Sears product. You are only going to find it at Sears, KMART or eBay.
I didn't realize that they had an exclusivity agreement. Good to know. Thanks.
@djbowman: Not really an exclusivity agreement, It's Sears' store brand.
Been manufactured by Ryobi for years, TTI now that they bought Ryobi. I did some IT work in the plant in Pickens, SC where they made them for a couple of summers. Most of the jobs moved to China, but I hear they are moving back since the economic boom in China started eating the offshoring savings.
... and this ends your unasked for tool history for the day
If you already have the battery and charger (say, for another Craftsman 19.2v lion tool), you can get just the drill for about $35 (+ship)

@tygerdave: I wondered who Ryobi was. Now I know. Kind of like Hotpoint and Kenmore.
Nice ! I like that. Of course I don't already have them so .... And buying them separate looks like it ends up more expensive. Good thing to know when I look at other tools in the series though.
Code: AFDEAL
Save an extra $10 on your Tool order of $100 or more with this Sears coupon code.
Starting 05/20/10 - Expires 05/31/10
Do yourself a favor and buy an extra battery. You'll be glad to have a back up on bigger projects. Trust me.
@lavikinga: my Ryobi actually came with 2 batteries.
@faughtey: Nice coupon! - also might want to switch tag from dears to sears :-p
@faughtey: did you get that to work? I tried earlier and with only the drill, it was a no go
@dcalotta: Yes, the total has to be $100.00 or more. The battery was added to bring the total up. You will need to find something that costs $1.00 or more. Here is a test I did:
@tygerdave: Heh, I'm not working tonight, so If someone needs to have the tag changed, you will need to tattle. Funny typo!
@dcalotta: Yes, the coupon works, but you need to spend $100.00 or more. Check out the test post two up ^^ from here.
