If you could designate a special day what would it be?

Everything seems to have a special day, not too long ago it was official Chocolate Cake Day, now we have Nutella Day. (??? It's not that good, why does it deserve a day?)

If you could designate a special day in honor of something/someone/somewhere what would you choose? And I already picked WOOT! day so that is off the table :)

Official Rescue Day. Rescue a pet by adopting it. Rescue someone else's pet by reporting abuse. Rescue a kid by signing up to volunteer to help at-risk youth. Rescue a senior or disabled person living alone by committing to regular contact to be sure they are okay. Honor people in the professional rescue business. If you are lucky enough to be in a safe place in your own life, reach out and pull someone or something else to safety as well.

Get-It-Off-Your-Chest Day (sorry, that doesn't mean clothes). A day where you can get something off your chest with the built in rule that we are all good listeners that day, no judging, no strings attached. Just let it fly.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
