Challenge: iPhone 3G alarm clock

The market is flooded with these and I am overwhelmed by the number of options and crummy/old/spammy reviews! I would love to know what people like (as well as good deals of course).

- Charge an iPhone 3G/3GS without putting it into Airplane Setting
- Decent sound (sounds decent in my bedroom)
- Under $100 (unless you absolutely love one for some reason)

This should work for you and is very highly reviewed (4 out of 5 stars). It is $74.99 through amazon with free shipping. However it does require these little bezels to help make the iPhone fit.

You don't even need to go that far, just get a regular docking station with speakers like this:

And get the "Awaken" app from the App store for 99 cents

I use the alarms from the Clock app that came with the phone. I don't understand why the airplane mode is involved at all.
