It was a bad call, it won't be overturned. Probably the worst thing about the call was when the ump called it, which you can see in the replay came real late....

Not a baseball fan, but that just looked to me like a missed pop-up in the grass.

From the rule book:

On the infield fly rule the umpire is to rule whether the ball could ordinarily have been handled by an infielder—not by some arbitrary limitation such as the grass, or the base lines. The umpire must rule also that a ball is an infield fly, even if handled by an outfielder, if, in the umpire’s judgment, the ball could have been as easily handled by an infielder. The infield fly is in no sense to be considered an appeal play. The umpire’s judgment must govern, and the decision should be made immediately.

The OF Ump was the one to call the infield fly rule. Bad call and too late at that. No excuse not to have instant replay in baseball and the issue of having a 162 game season come down to one elimination game is ridiculous.

I loved how all the braves fans used the warcry and threw bags worth f beer cans onto the field.

It was a horrible call, but MLB has denied the protest for the exact reason I thought they would. They determined that it was a judgement call by the umpires, so it stands as it is.
