I think you saw more movies in the theater than I have this year. I think I'm at 2 and both of them were kids movies. Though I was thinking about doing the Jewish Christmas thing and getting Chinese food and seeing a movie tonight since my girlfriend works, and I'm all alone on Christmas

I keep a list of the books I read each year, but not movies. I have little codes for which books I liked the most, and whether I've read them before, and all of that. Because I am a huge dork.

I have not done that, but it sounds like a good idea!
I was trying to remember the last concert I went to as it has been a few years, and I am drawing a complete blank.
What I need to start doing is keeping a list of things I have given to others for various gift-giving occasions.

One year in when I was in college I kept track: 56 movies in the theater and I think about the same amount on video.
Then again, I was friends with the manager of a local movie theater :-)

I've only kept lists of books I've read once; there was a prize for reading 100 books in a year.

Movies are easy: I saw The Avengers.

That is just way too organized for me. But I almost never make lists of anything outside of grocery shopping anyway.

No, but the other day I was looking for something in my order history and spent a few minutes going through each year looking at the order summaries because it made me curious. It was fun to see the patterns over various years and what I was "into" at a particular time.

I do keep a list of concerts via last.fm. I tried to do the movie thing, but I just watch too many to keep track. Books, I've never really felt like keeping a list.

No. It would be a very short list.

at the beginning of the year i list out all the movies coming out that year that i might want to see, you can find them on wikipedia and then in a shared excel file i keep track of which movies me and my friends have seen.
then at the end of the year we do oscar picks.
Last year i even included you guys.

I've kept a pretty decent list of books I've read at goodreads.com mainly so I can find other books that might interest me, though if I'm being honest, it's really more of a vanity thing.
