I did some googling and there are others who are not getting their purchases. The site has the worst reputation I have seen from a site that is not actively stealing. The site is down for everyone and it might be dead and buried as its name implies.

Totally coincidentally, I wandered over to their site just two or three days ago and was surprised at how little merchandise (compared to months gone by) they were offering. Since they evidently sell close-out and/or over-stock, I'm wondering if they are in the process of shutting down and are selling what's left in their warehouse.

I don't know about their reputation overall, but I've purchased from them a dozen times or so in the past and have had no problems at all.

Be sure to keep an eye on the date you placed the order so you can do a dispute with your credit card issuer if you don't get your purchase. The cut-off time for most CC issuers is 60 days from the date of the statement on which the purchase showed up.

I was rather surprised to see them down for 'maintenance' for such a long time as well. I've purchased from them quite a few times in the past and never had an issue. It did look like their stock was dwindling and newer offerings were getting kind of lame. It may be the end of the line for them. Hope no one loses out with paying for something that never shows up.

I've been waiting for an order now 30days. Customer Service said they were behind. I asked for a refund and cancelled my order. No response from CS on that. Now the site is down and research on resellerratings.com someone said they filed bankruptcy. I hope I can get a refund through AMEX.

@brighthand: I'm sorry that happened to you. I hope you can get a refund through your credit card. fingers crossed for you

I wonder if OP has had any better luck with their order?

I placed an order w/them on March 16, waited a month, contacted them and received a "please be patient" email, that we're behind and will keep you posted. Well, we're now in May and after reading these comments I filed a dispute claim w/PayPal, where they stated "PayPal is unable to contact your seller at the present time....you are requesting that PayPal review your claim and make a decision...if we decide in your favor, we will do everything in our power to recover whatever funds we can." Sounds like bankruptcy to me. Graveyardmall.com has probably screwed over a lot of customers.

I too ordered an item and waited a month while hearing nothing from them. I sent them an email and also was told they were behind on shipping. I disputed with paypal 2 days after seeing the website go down and have since disputed it with my credit card company. I ordered around a dozen times from them with no problems. Can't trust anyone these days.

Oh, crap! Sorry to see them go under. Have ordered, received great bargains from them. Never had a problem. Sad.

same problem here. they took the money out of my bank acct. but will not return calls and the site is down. i think they packed their bags and skipped town with lots of peoples money. shame on them!! i contacted my bank and am filing a dispute form and the bank also recommended i file a police report. sorry to everyone else that this has happened to.

I also ordered, in February. Received their stock answer, and once I saw they were down for "maintenance" for an extended period of time disputed this on my credit card.

Following up from my earlier post from a few days ago...filed a dispute with PayPal and they immediately cancelled it because I filed it after the 45 days of "Buyer Protection." I contacted them again and basically wrote them a "what are you kidding me" note, stating that I tried to contact the seller to no avail and that there is no recourse with them. I also send a pretty nasty letter to the provided email address for graveyardmall, not expecting a response ( I didn't get one). PayPal has reconsidered my complaint and issued a refund. I have a feeling that a lot of people are going to get screwed - if you placed an order and have not received it and paid w/PayPal, you only have 45 days from the date of purchase to file a claim. Graveyardmall is notorious for not sending stuff for MONTHS so I bet they know they're off the hook with people that use PayPal.

Like others, I order some sunglasses on Jan 30, and still have not received them. About a month in, they promised to ship them by "end of the week" but of course nothing. Then they stopped responding to emails and now the website has been down for weeks, if not a month....longest "maintenance" period ever. STAY AWAY.

I have an answer, I used to work there. These are people who used to be in the record industry in Chicago. The grandson of the man who hired me.... laid off all the long time, full time employee's about 2 years ago. They brought in cheap part timer workers, who had no clue... and they ran the company to hell. This who ran it, was very shady, and always tried to cut corners. Everytime an employee pointed out that what he was doing was wrong, they would get laid off.

@artisticctrl: Is the company still in business? The site has been in "maintenance" for a long time...

vote-for1vote-against

They are out of business. I was able to get the money back from my unfulfilled order by contacting Paypal.

The company went out of business.
