Is it just me or is Samsung's UN46EH6070 the thickest LED tv ever?

So based on amazon's pictures its a super thick tv almost like a LCD (yes I know their virtually the same but with different lighting don't argue with me) Is it just the pictures or is it really thick? Also if anyone can give me reasons not to buy this and to wait for black Friday please do. Lol I've been putting off buying a tv since January and my patience is wearing thin.

47 inch supposed led whats to hate? comes with a free "smart" blu-ray player at $979.99 I'm kinda thinking this is a steal.... I'll post it as a deal too.
