No Christmas this year for me :( Stuck in China due to work...considered getting some kind of makeshift "Christmas" tree, but I think that'd be even worse, heh. Not sure though...maybe I should make another question thread about peoples' best "Charlie Brown" tree :)

I would be getting it today if not for my grinchy hubs. So, next weekend. But this weekend - I'm making him hang lights with me!

I'm getting a miniature Christmas tree soon. Never liked how the big one took so much room and how they made such a larger mess. Besides that, they're cheaper and decorations are also less.

@thumperchick: I am hanging the lights on the house today too. Its is warm in New Jersey its like 60 out today.

@jeffk069: It's nice here in Upstate NY - We take advantage of 45+ weather while we can! There might be snow on the ground, but I don't need my coat and gloves yet!

Not hanging lights, and I just need to bring the box out of the garage for the tree.

I won't post how warm (hot) it's going to get today, but I'm in shorts and t-shirt.

Picked up my Charlie Brown tree yesterday. Best tree ever.

I got it years ago, it's in a pot and has roots, no need to buy a new tree every year, we just keep using ours until it gets too big to fit back in the house and then it gets planted outside.

I have a smaller size old fake one from about the 1940's, in fairly good shape still. I put small old-fashioned wooden toys on it, candy canes, old-style glass ornaments and tinsel, no lights. It's very retro-looking and I love it.
