a box to put what the price is regularly/ on average ( not MSRP/retail or deal price, but what you can probably get it for most days )

I'd like the ability to see who down voted anything, deals, questions, comments etc.

I'd also like you to have to post why you are down voting something in order to down vote. You not liking the color of a sweater is no reason to down vote a good deal on a great sweater. It would stop quite a bit of the petty down voting that might swing a deal early on or it might stop an individual with a petty grievance continually down voting another members contributions.

The ability to easily communicate directly with individuals would be nice.

It's the internet, and haters gonna hate. That said it is probably more harmonious to the community at large that voting is not made public.

@inkycatz: I don't know, I go back and forth on that one.

One one hand, as Walden once wrote, "Haters are in fact going to hate."

However on the other hand if you are forced to be publicly accountable for your haterade in a community setting most folks are far more likely to be mindful of their negativity and be more constructive with it.

@yrguide: If you have to explain a negative vote, then it follows that you should have to explain a positive vote. Would not work for either one. Participation would plummet.

The ability to see who voted up or down a comment.

AUTOMATIC EXPIRATION!!!!! Yes, I went there and put it all in caps. Whether 1 month or 2 months, deals should automatically expire. Or at minimum, add an expiration date field so when deals are added, their expiration is set.
