Who thinks woot should have a beer woot?

Let's face it, craft beer is a very fast growing market and it would be awesome do be able to get rare unique beers at a good price from a place like woot. Anyone else think this should be made into reality?

P.S. - If they need help starting this up with lists and ideas I'll gladly help. haha

I'd support it 100% as long as it's legal and feasible.

What about the wine? I've never purchased any of it, so I'm not sure.
Is there $5 shipping on wine? I would assume that a case of 4 bottles of wine would be rather heavy as well.

I'd be interested, but as it's been pointed out, it doesn't seem feasible.

Check around you, see if there are any depots. I know there's a HUGE place near my parents house that has hundreds upon hundreds of different beers from all over. I haven't found such a place here yet, but I know they're not completely uncommon.

This could be a good way for you to find and try new things.

Another thing you can do is talk to the owner of your usual liquor store. If you know of a certain brew or brewery you like and you come in regularly enough, they will make special orders if they can.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
