There are two types of people in this world, people who love that song and people who can't stand that song. I'm one type and my girlfriend is the opposite type.

Most of them...

Actually, the age of the one-hit wonders is nearly over. The digital age has made it easy for people to find more music from those artists and thus, sell more albums and prolong their awful career.

Of course, I could be wrong -- but I never am :)

I don't listen to enough new music to offer a good opinion on this one. I am stuck hopelessly in the classic rock/hair band era.

I saw your question and immediately thought of this song. While I agree with @capguncowboy as well about the digital age making more music from these artists more accessible, I still doubt that another song from this artist will be something that anyone will remember even in a year. However, I know I will still be singing this one in a few years and would remember it if I heard a few bars of it somewhere.

I do think it's funny how you can go from hating a song and then it grows on you. I think I listen to it at least once a day. And I agree with Cap too. If you have a nice body and can shake your a$$... you'll be around. :(
