Can Woot coupons be used to cover shipping plus price?

For example, if I have a $20 coupon, and I buy something for $15, does the coupon cover both the item and the shipping, or do I have to pay $5 shipping and lose $5 of my coupon? On a related note, I read somewhere that Woot coupons are not good on Sellout.Woot. Is this true? Sorry if this has been asked before, I was sure it must have been but a search did not find the answer and neither did reading the coupon. Thanks for your help.

Yes the coupon can be used to cover shipping costs. I purchased a reckoning shirt a couple weeks ago and chose overnight shipping just to use the rest of the $20 coupon.

To answer your second question, yes the coupon can be used on the sellout.woot item, however you can only use coupons on the Woot! sites. They won't work on the other sponsored deals or anything within the community. (Except Moofi of course)

Darn, too late for the cool zebra striped ones. Got stuck with the red ones. Not too awful, I also got stuck with the red pots and pans so these will match. But, seriously...polka dots? Who can take a polka dot knife seriously?

Looks like you already got your answer. I did exactly the same thing, right down to the only having red polka-dots left. I figure I left a penny on the table, but that's better than I did last time (missing expiration date)!

Here's a good tip:

If you have questions about a coupon, usually you can answer 'em yourself. Just go through checkout and use the coupon, but don't finish checkout.

You'll see the final price w/ coupon.. that's the best way to find the limits of the coupon too..
