Anybody having trouble with tekgrabber.com?
I ordered a case for an iPad from them; it was a sponsored ad here on Woot (I think on October 16). The ad said "Pad 3/2 New Generation Built-In Bluetooth Aluminum Keyboard Case (Black) for 26.99 and free shipping." A number of us talked about it on the boards that night. I paid with PayPal & haven't heard a thing since. No copy of the order in email, no shipping notice, nothing. I sent email to tekgrabber.com customer service on November 4 asking when I could expect to receive the order. I'm still waiting to hear from them.
I'm curious about whether the same thing happened to others. I made an official inquiry through PayPal when I didn't hear back from tekGrabber. If there was some delay in getting the things or some other problem, that would be fine...but not hearing a word from them seems alarming. But then I'm easily alarmed. Did you order this and receive it? Do you think it's my breath?
Yes...it's most likely your breath. Have you tried a good mouthwash?
Seriously...this has happened to me also. I tried calling the number on my confirmation email, but got a voicemail system that didn't identify itself as belonging to TekGrabber, so I'm a bit concerned as well. I sent them a message via their "contact us" page asking for an update by end of day today. If I don't hear anything, I'll start a chargeback with my credit card company.
Update...no response from TekGrabber. I started the chargeback process today.
In a sense, I'm glad to know it wasn't just me, although I hate knowing it happened to others. I never would have ordered this had it not been one of Woot's sponsored deals of the day. Woot, I hope you're taking steps to see that these guys don't use Woot again to defraud us.
