Anyone else order boots from cabelas.com last week and got their orders cancelled?
This is the deal I'm referring to: http://deals.woot.com/deals/details/1d8b930b-08a0-4e77-a0d9-ae2e170788f6/cabelas-hi-tec-altitude-waterproof-steel-toe-hikers#26
@kromo, @nflblitze1, @rtravis0502, @ecriscit, @ericleer, and anyone else who ordered from cabelas.
@wootersarecool "forget ordering any good deals from cabelas. they charge and then cancel your order without telling you. twice now I have bought things I saw on woot, paid and got confirmation and then had both orders cancelled." I wish I had seen this earlier! Then I would've bought boots when they were on sale on Amazon last week!
It seems like a case of bait-and-switch advertising.
@cornellbigred: No, bait-and-switch always involves a switch, meaning you get something out of the deal, even though it's nowhere near as good or cheap. This is "bait-and-steal" if what you're saying is true. If I were you, I'd contact somebody from cabelas.com to get things straightened out. If that doesn't work, call the credit company that you used to buy these boots and try and get the charge dropped from your bill
If you bought it with your Cabela's credit card, that would be the problem.
