I had them spam me for a while but I found that I was not ever actually getting anything from any of them (google, living social, groupon) and have since unsubscribed from them all.

i still do, i buy deals randomly and have even posted some of the nationwide deals. lately though the emails are overwhelming because it's not just groupon or living social, it's google offers, amazon local, saveology, mom this, daily that arrgghhh

I've never found a single Groupon offer that I wanted to buy. I have purchased a few offers from Google Offers and Amazon Local, but none of them were actually for local businesses.

I'm probably just not the correct target for Groupon...it seems that they're mostly targeted at restaurants around here, and I'm not much of a restaurant kind of guy. When I do want a deal at restaurants, I usually use restaurant.com...you can get some great discounts through them when you use a coupon (like the current $2 for a $25 gift certificate, coupon code BLOOM).

I actually just bought from two of them yesterday-- my usual salon came up in an email and I jumped on that, and then another one from one of the other companies came up for a local miniature golf we'd been meaning to go to for awhile.

It's few and far between that I find anything I want, but when I do, the deal was worth waiting for.

Yep, and still buy them. It's a good chance to try out some new places/things for a reasonable price...and I'm too stingy to let them expire.

Most recently, I bought a chocolate basket (for a birthday), a bamboo plant (for the house) and an Amazon gift card (for me...because I deserve it :)

It's not really spam if you're subscribed. I usually visit them every day and buy from at least one of them once a week or so. More during the winter when I was off my diet, but now I am trying to get back on the wagon so I am buying exercise classes instead of restaurant coupons. I use them a lot for stuff like massages and facials that I have always wanted to try but never been willing to pay full price. I get grooming for my dog from time to time. And on our local version run by the paper there are discount tickets for community events like holiday celebrations and entertainment mediums like the theatre or the symphony often offered on 2 for 1 prices.

I turned off my emails from them but I do check their sites every morning.

been getting great groupons pretty frequently, just bought 2 48 hours ago. Living social not as much, and google deals not at all.

I don't use either because there are no deals close to where I live, BFE.
