Is the top community deal for the previous day gone from the Leader Board?

I almost hesitate to ask this, since last time I tried, Deals got slipped a Mickey Finn that lasted for hours.

I've noticed that there's still the box that "Yesterday's Top Community Deal" appeared inn, and there's still a top voter, and a top sponsored deal, but (sadly) no community deal to match. I thought at first it was an aberration, but it's just gone. Was there an announcement? Did I miss the memo? Out of the three things in that box, I always thought the top community deal was the most interesting (and sometimes it was something I'd managed to miss, too).

Will it ever return?

I know it's Friday night, and a three-day weekend, but I really tried to ask this earlier. @jumbowoot, if you happen to see this, and it's an easy answer, and you don't mind, I'd love to hear the answer to why there's no more yesterday's top community deal.

I'd also like to thank @faughtey and @thunderthighs (and anyone else I don't know about) for cleaning up all the repeated comments from the latest Deals oops.

I thought that it was just another bug as it has been MIA several times over the last year or so.

@theoneill555: I also thought it was just a bug, but then realized that it was just gone, and had been for days. If I had to choose, I'd prefer to see the community deal over the sponsored deal (but recognize the financial boost that the sponsored deal gets by having one more day in the spotlight).

@shrdlu: Silly me. I just assumed (I know) that the sponsored deals were one day only just like the sellout.woot item. So, it would really make more sense to me that the community pick (which is usually active the next day) should be the one on display.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
