questionsif you had the opportunity, would you want to…

No... I also don't want to be lit on fire if the opportunity arises.

I have always wondered what it would be like but I think I would like to be a visitor more than an inmate. Maybe like a tour of the prison for a couple of hours. I would not want to be locked up for a night.

I spent two nights in county jail when I was 18 (I was framed!) and that cured me of ever wanting to be on the wrong side of the law.

It is excruciatingly frustrating to know that you can't just get up and walk out when you've had enough.

You can get paid to go if you like... Go to your local recruiting station and sign up to be a Marine or Army Soldier.. You will get 9 weeks+ of all of your freedoms taken away from you.

And it's always good to serve! Hooah!

@devexityspace: Beat me to it. I was going to say join the military.

8 weeks of Navy boot camp where someone tells you when to get up, when to sleep, when to eat, when to walk, when to run, etc. Depending upon which prison you are in, there is more freedom in prison.

Not sure the idea would work. It is different if you know you can leave in a week.

I would not be interested. I have been curious but not enough to want to do it.

No way. I like having my freedom too much.

possibly. but being a 140lb asian male, i think i'd become more a toy than a prisoner. so probably not.

No. I spent a few nights in a county jail and never want to go back.

@jsimsace: Been there, too. Anyone answering affirmative to this needs to have their head shrunk.

I would like to yes, because like you it has fascinated me, I would like the full experience, arrest, fingerprinted, orange jumpsuit, cuffs and ultimately jailed and locked up in a cell, I may not enjoy it but it may be a life worthy experience so I most definitely would do it, and ask for the full convict treatment
