These stores sometimes have some of the best deals, so I say yes, post 'em. The community will not hesitate to down-vote if they don't like it. Besides, if you don't have a membership, most likely you know someone who does, and can just go along and buy it on their card. With Amazon, I used to be more careful about putting in the title whether the free shipping was through their Super Saver program or just straight up free shipping, but now there's so much that qualifies that I just put it in the description.

I think that for something as ubiquitous as Costco or Sam's Club, I'd agree with kenerg. However, if it's for some no-name or high-priced membership place, definitely not.

I think if it's a fairly "common" place to have a membership it should be good to go. I would probably call it out in the title so no one gets in a tizzy if they waste 30 seconds of their life to click on something and realized they can't get it.

That being said, if it's JoesDiscountShack.com or something bizarre probably not.

Meh. Blu-ray deals are allowed even though many people don't have blu-ray players. iPhone accessory deals are allowed even though many people don't have iPhones.

Yes, I realize that the things I've listed above are a different kind of "paid membership," but they do require an upfront purchase to be useful.

I'd say that deals requiring a paid membership that a good percentage of the community can be expected to have (eg. Amazon Prime, Costco and even BJ's) or that have free trials (eg. Amazon Prime and BJ's) are acceptable.

Regardless, any deal with a paid membership requirement should state the requirement, either at the top of the description or better yet, in the deal's title.

I think the main thing is to mention it in the title... i.e. "Costco-...", "Amazon Prime only-...", or "Staples Rewards-..."

I think you get the point.
