NY Superbowl Champ Giants. Can't wait to the season starts, I know I have something to do every sunday for the next 4 months - ALL DAY IF I MIGHT ADD.

My favorite team is the Dolphins. So no, I'm not ready for some football. Neither are they....

vote-for2vote-against

I suppose if we're talking NFL I should root for the Titans, as they're closest.. but that all takes a back seat to college football around here. War eagle!

vote-for3vote-against

I like the other football, aka soccer. But @pemberducky will love you for this thread, I bet. :)

49ers fan living in Jersey!

Let's Go!

vote-for3vote-against

YESSSSSsssSS!! Broncos!! GO Peyton. But i live in NJ and still had fun watching Tebow last year so I might watch some of the JETS circus this year. Also... FANTASY FOOTBALL!!!

Dallas

At least I thought I was ready until I watched Romo get knocked around like a rag doll last night. 0 TD is not promising against Oakland, even if it is a pre-season game.

Like @ki4rxm I am much more of a College FB fan. WPS!

Colts fan forever. Suck for Luck. Now let's show um what's last season was for. That being said, going to this weekend's Denver Donkeys game. Payton will always be a Colt.

vote-for3vote-against

@wootferret: Being a Giants fan I totally agree!

vote-for3vote-against

chupacabras!

... that's not a team? ummm....

seahawks!

vote-for2vote-against

Heck yeah! Wednesday's gonna take the Championship and get back to the Prem right where they belong!

orrrr....

I can't wait till my Steelers crush the Donkey's (who don't do anything for me other than screw up the double header coverage nearly every single week) on opening night!

am i ready for some football?

yes.
yes i am.

(forgive the plugs.)

vote-for3vote-against

No...I still have to add in a lot of the Fantasy Football point projections from various sites to my spreadsheet. Then after I do that, I have to put together my Master Draft Sheet. Then we have to have the draft itself. After all that, then, yes, I will be ready for some football.

Pro? Saints!!!

College (more my style) -- LSU! GEAUX TIGERS!!!

vote-for5vote-against

Lots of packers fans in here - Go Pack Go!

Also, Iowa State for College. Go State!

vote-for4vote-against

Giants.

Yes the username has nothing to do with the football team.

vote-for3vote-against

Hooray football.

I hope my Bills finally get those wagons circled.

vote-for2vote-against

Yes! Go RG3. My Skins finally have a QB again.

Arizona Cardinals... yes we exist

I never understood people who root for a college team that never attended the school.

vote-for3vote-against

@ryanwb: I don't understand what going to the school as to do with it? Have you every played for the Cardinals? Probably not, but you more than likely root for a team that represents your state/city or a family favorite. Grow up in any SEC state and you will understand.

vote-for2vote-against

@the18thtee84: College and Pros are different, you can't compare the two.

I guess it's different on the West Coast, but to me it's like attending a company picnic for a company you don't work for. Being an alumni is your entry into the club, how can you have any school spirit or pride if you've never even stepped onto the campus or paid your dues in academics and tuition?

vote-for3vote-against

lol how did I get 2 downvotes and @zuiquan got non even thought I posted packers first :D :D yay for getting downvotes for enthusiasm :c

vote-for3vote-against

@pyroglass: Same here, but in Virginia! Go 9ers!

vote-for3vote-against

@inkycatz: Heh, I think Seattle may be the only city where saying, "I like the other football," doesn't sound like, "Guys... we totally play a sport too! We have scarves! Those are cool, right?"

My hometown boys: The Browns.
Who I watch instead: Packers.

vote-for3vote-against

@gatzby: Scarves? What are they playing? Quidditch?

vote-for2vote-against

I'm Packers. Mr. Beny is Bears. People like to take our pics when in sports gear. Good times.

vote-for3vote-against

Wow! Three downvotes for my alma mater? Geez! Where's the love, or at least the sympathy. We just lost our Honey Badger! (Doesn't it totally pi** you off when people with so much promise totally screws up their future? That makes me even madder than the fact that this could possibly affect our season. Argh!) Well, at least the coach did the right thing and quit putting up with the violations.

BTW, I was born into the only LSU family in, er, another SEC state. The reason we were LSU fans was because a family member played first string on their 1958 National Championship Team. None of our state schools would offer him a scholarship. Actually, my grandfather delighted in being ornery and pi**ing off the neighbors. Nevertheless, I would cheerfully have attended college elsewhere but LSU gave me a full ride (I used to be smart).

Now if only we could afford the season tickets!

I cheer for both of Maryland's hometown teams:

1) the Baltimore Ravens and
2) the Washington Redskins.

The Lions. Glad to see that I am not the only one that like them. For College I am a Blue Turf-aholic all the way Boise State Broncos (BSU)

vote-for1vote-against

No hometown team for me. The nearest pro team is KC but there's something about that town that bugs me so I can't bring myself to cheer for them. My wife has a bunch of family from Wisconsin so the Packers are my adopted team.
