yeah i noticed that too, it's a recent thing like in the last few days only. CSS issue

The "em" tag is for emphasis. It's supposed to put emphasis on the search term when mentioned. Woot just doesn't handle HTML properly when it's thrown in there. No idea how to fix it since I quit programming in college. Worst major ever.

Just thought I'd let you know.

glad it wasn't just me!
I thought maybe it was a browser issue (firefox)

I'm using Chrome and see it as well. It's rather annoying. Which staff member should be invoked? @shawnmiller @josefresno

@thepenrod: Those are a good start (on the invocation). You might also want to alert @dave bug for this, and himself, @jumbowoot, just for the sake of completion.

Oh, and please don't delete the question, dearest friends on the developer end of things. Questions about bugs are useful to keep around.

@shrdlu: I couldn't remember how to get @dave bug to do link properly instead of looking like this: @dave bug.

Edit: (Obviously I know now because of your comment.)

@holymythos: Yeah, thanks for the info. That's what I meant when I said "only affects black triangles" but I guess that's pretty ambiguous heh, so thanks for clarifying.

Also, I invoked shawnmiller and josefresno on another thread before I made this, then I realized there was a little more to it than just the code showing - so I posted a question.

(those guys are always busy working on something - and they're always the first to get called with tech issues, so I try to alert 'em as little as possible...hence the lack of @'s :D)

@drchops: i forgot, is that still only for black triangles? it's not for everyone yet? the bolding of your search term
