I keep meaning to give that show a watch but still haven't. I also want to read the books.

I've been sooo tempted. I've read the books & they're outrageously violent. I don't know if I can hack watching those scenes, so that's kept me from getting the dvds.

I recently switched from the Showtime package to HBO, so I didn't see the first season. I'm hoping they air the first season in some kind of marathon before the second season starts. I've seen some of the first episode and it looks as good as people make it out to be.

To answer your question, no.

@rprebel: at the worst check it out on HBO GO. Most markets have it part of the package.

Totally looking forward to the arrival of my dvds! :)

I saw them all on HBO when they were on and now I cannot decide if I should pull the trigger on the Bluray...

My husband went to Best Buy when it opened this morning to get the Blu-rays with the special Stark cover.

My Blu-ray set just arrived from Amazon. 5 disks, with lots of bonus material, including some hidden "dragon's eggs" I haven't had time to look for yet. A nice big map of Westeros and genealogy charts for the major Houses. The BR discs in 1080p look fabulous so far.

@psumek: Right, I forgot that was an option. Thx

They've been doing an episode every Thursday night for the past 6 weeks on HBO. I pre-ordered from Best Buy to get the Stark shield keychain which is actually pretty cool.

HBO Go is the best way to watch it if you need to catch up and didn't feel like buying the Bluray.
