Why is deals.woot the only site that has a ®?
I noticed that Deals.woot! has a registered trademark symbol by it's name while none of the other Woot! sites do. Is there a reason for this?

That tiny little thing up there? That's what's driving you crazy?
Is there a reason? Yes. Why? Dunno. Legal reasons?
because jumbo woot said so
Because all the other woot sites have the ® in your browser tab title.
Why is deals the only one that doesn't have a ™ ?
@duckcake: I didn't notice that before, thanks! But why are they different though...?
@s21: Don't hold me to this. But my BEST guess is because, when you click on something (like this question) it doesn't say deals.woot in your tab anymore.
Woot, no matter what you click on. Woot: will always be there in the front.
Some examples: Amazon, doesn't have it. But does always have the name in the tab.
eBay loses it's name in the front of the tab. But has the ® at the end of their logo on their website.
Same with Home Depot.
Just my guess.
@duckcake: Thanks, that makes a lot of sense now
@duckcake: "Why is deals the only one that doesn't have a ™ ?"
Deals.Woot is a deal aggregator – a service – and doesn't sell anything itself – trade.
It's actually just a fancy period.
Darn it! Thanks. Now every time I come on the site I'm going to look at it and it is going to just kinda bother me until I know why it's there.
@chris12345: Boo yah!! Perfect answer.
But seriously folks, it just stands for "r"etard. Which is what we are for spending so much time here........
